Poetry Out Loud 1.4

The Poetry Out Loud app is an invaluable tool for students participating in the competition, providing a convenient way to find, save, and practice poems. This national arts education program is open to high school students currently enrolled in every US state, the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico, and the US Virgin Islands. Through Poetry Out Loud, students not only develop their public speaking skills, but also build self-confidence while gaining a deeper understanding of literary history and contemporary life.

With over 1,000 poems available in the app, competitors have access to a wide range of choices. The bookmark feature allows users to save their favorite poems for easy reference during practice sessions. Additionally, the Compete tab provides all the necessary information for participating in the contest.

Poetry Out Loud is a collaborative effort between esteemed organizations such as the National Endowment for the Arts, Poetry Foundation, and state and jurisdictional arts agencies.
